It looks like Capcom is gearing up to throw a special event in Las Vegas @ the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this year. The event will be held at a secret location, however you can get the details on how to gain access to the event on Snow’s Blog over at Capcom Unity’s website. Snow also states that this build will not be the TGS or the latest build, but a brand spanking new one.

That’s not all. Capcom is gearing up to reveal some new characters soon and those characters will be playable in the build as well! Here’s a little snippet from Snow on the whole ordeal;

We’re going to be holding an event in Las Vegas on January 6th at a secret location. Better still, we’re inviting you to attend and come out to play some Marvel vs Capcom 3. Here’s the details:

• Marvel vs Capcom 3 secret event on Thursday, January 6th in Las Vegas, NV
• 6pm to 9pm
• A brand new build of Marvel vs Capcom 3 (contains new characters which we will announce shortly)
• Tournament to be held with prizes
• Must 21 or older
• Free pizza and beer
