Marvel vs Capcom 2 releases for the iPhone today

Marvel vs Capcom 2 has been released today for most of the Apple products that use iOS. You can purchase it for your iPhone or iPod Touch off Apple’s App store for $2.99. This special deal lasts till May 6th, then will go back to the regular price of $4.99. The game is also available only in North America and Europe. Here’s a look at the screenshots;

EVO announcement trailer 2012

The new Evolution 2012 announcement trailer was revealed last night. The trailer announces some very special additions as well as what we can expect at the “World Series” of Fighting games. The trailer also reveal the streamers for the event, which will be iplaywinner and of course, Team Spooky.

Street Fighter X Tekken 1.03 Update is now available

Capcom released a new update for Street Fighter X Tekken today. The update is basically the replay analyzer and a heavy assortment of gem packs. Capcom released the list of the gems on their blog. The patch can be downloaded on both the 360 & PS3.

Fuudo & Itabashi Zangief joins Team Razer

Last night Razer Japan announced their two newest members, Hiromiki “Itabashi Zangief” Kumada & Keita “Fuudo” Ai. Both players are well known Virtua Fighters and Street Fighter players. Both players will be at Shadowloo Showdown next weekend and will show off the new Razer Arcade Stick. Street Fighter X Tekken Playstation Vita trailer, gameplay & Pics

Capcom just released a few trailers for the Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken today. Twelve more cast members have been added to the roster and there’s a new feature where people with the Vita version can play against people with the Playstation 3 version. Also if you have both the PS3 and vita version of the game the new 12 characters will be unlocked on the Sony PS3 system.

Mortal Kombat komes to the Playstation vita

NetherRealm Studios announced today on their facebook page that Mortal kombat will come out on the Playstation Vita, May 1st, 2012 (May 4th, 2012 for the United Kingdom). Sources say that there will be touch screen fatalities.

Gootecks leaves the house he built; Cross Counter

Ryan “Gootecks” Gutierrez announced during Cross Counter Live last night that he is leaving Cross Counter. Cross Counter was formed by Gootecks and Mike Ross. Reasoning behind this departure is unknown. One of the main reasons Fighter’s Fury got started was because of Gootecks interviewing some of the best and brightest players in the Fighting Game Community. This is a heavy blow to our community and Ryan will be miss. We wish him the best.
